I moved the kids’ table into a nook of our office room so that I could see the kids smash play-doh into the carpet as they were doing it, as opposed to an hour later. You see the basket full of craft crap (it’s limited to chalk & chalkboard – thanks Aunt Gigi – crayons, paper, pipe cleaners (well, I thought they were a good idea) and stickers. Clearly we need to do some updating. I have glue around here somewhere and we’re to the point that I don’t think kid scissors are a bad idea.
But, thanks to Pinterest, I think I can do better. I’d love to somehow hang a list of songs on the wall (I started collecting them on FB today). Also, perhaps a way to display a letter that we can work on each week. Something I can print off and put into some sort of frame.
The wallpaper will soon go by the wayside, but it’s only in the long-term goals. That being said, I wouldn’t mind doing some hanging of sorts.
